The PortBridge accelerator speeds up your web browsing by using advanced compression technology. The compression will reduce the size of web documents that your modem downloads, allowing them to be downloaded faster. The accelerator can also reduce the quality of images you download, making them download much faster. You can choose how much image quality you wish to use, which will vary how quickly images download.

What versions of Windows will the accelerator work with?

All recent versions of Windows are supported by the accelerator. This includes Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows ME, and Windows 98. The accelerator does not work with Windows 95 or MacOS.
