Our Customers Say...
Although Portbridge impresses me as a big company, each time I communicate by phone or through email, I am treated as if I were the most important customer out there.....and as if I were your next door neighbor. --GT in Dover

Setting up SMTP Authentication in
Netscape 4.x
You will need to use SMTP authentication if you want to send mail out through PortBridge's
mail server, but are not connected to the PortBridge network. NOTE: It is recommended that you
use the outgoing (SMTP) mail server of the ISP that is providing you with an internet connection
rather than using PortBridge's mail server for outgoing mail under these circumstances.
In Netscape, go to Edit | Preferences.
Click on the plus (+) sign next to Mail and Newsgroups in the list on the left.
When the list below Mail and Newsgroups appears, click on Mail Servers.
In the Outgoing mail server user name, enter your account
username. Make sure "Use Secure Connection (SSL) or TLS for outgoing messages" is set to "Never". Hit OK.
