Our Customers Say...
I have been with Portbridge for several years and I am very pleased with your support. This week I lost my DSL connection. David was wonderful in working with me to find out the problem. I thank you for this wonderful support. --Rebekah in Raleigh

Setting up SMTP Authentication in
Netscape 6 and above
You will need to use SMTP authentication if you want to send mail out through PortBridge's
mail server, but are not connected to the PortBridge network. NOTE: It is recommended that you
use the outgoing (SMTP) mail server of the ISP that is providing you with an internet connection
rather than using PortBridge's mail server for outgoing mail under these circumstances.
From your Netscape Inbox window,
go to Edit | Mail and Newsgroups Account Settings.
In the list on the left, click on Outgoing Server (SMTP).
Check "User name and password". Under User Name, enter your account
username. Make sure "Use Secure Connection (SSL)" is set to "Never". Hit OK.
